Adoption

Our shelter partner is Humane Society of Portage County (HSPC). The goal of our sanctuary is to be the bridge between HPSC, where guests can reserve time to interact with shelter cats in a relaxed setting and explore the possibility of adoption.

Anyone interested in adopting a cat, fills out the adoption application with HSPC. The adoption is a HSPC process (we are only the foster home). Once approved, your adoption contract is signed with HSPC and adoption fees are paid to them. We then work with the adopter on a pick up day and time from the Cat Sanctuary at Starry Night Cat Cafe. Don’t forget a cat carrier and your adoption contract for proof of adoption.

Cat Fostering Program

Our enclosed sanctuary is part of the Human Society of Portage County (HSPC) Cat Fostering Program. All cats are chosen by Humane Society of Portage County (HSPC) based on specific criteria to set up our feline fosters for success. All foster cats in the sanctuary are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped, and receive attentive care from our dedicated cat staff. We prioritizes the health and well-being of our feline foster cats by completing training with HSPC and following all the same care and cleaning protocols.
